2nd Nov new lamp launch
A completely new lamp is being launched on the 2nd Nov.
Can't link the picture sorry. Won't let me.
But looks die cast, and possibly looking at the curvature it might be taking an astro bottle.
And first 100 out the window. Now a lottery of all the orders placed on the same day. Seems irrelevant to still call it first 100 when it isn't.
What are your thoughts on what it might be?

Yup, I mentioned that earlier tbh. I rarely see them on ebay.
It was more from the point of view of discouraging people from being prats and costing Mathmos money.

I would like to see first 100 completely scrapped. It's just a devious marketing ploy. Nothing else.

Ha ha no emails yesterday about the First 100 and all quiet today, should have at least had a dispatch confirmation!!!
It hurts me to say this but with ALL the problems they are having with the products, I cannot see how the company can continue trading.

Make the most of it. With cost of living, this country is facing a real rough time of it. I cannot see M lasting more than a year at this rate.

Has anyone had theirs yet? Mine has gone deathly quiet. Sign of things to come I expect.... should be silent slow delivery, not free fast delivery. You would think they would keep their customers updated wouldn't you.

I would have thought somebody must have had one delivered by now. No doubt Mathmos will put the delay down to huge demand and excess orders.

After the endless problems I have had with the products over the last 2+ years, I haven’t purchased anything from them.
In the past I would get a dispatch confirmation on the day of ordering & 99% of the time, the order arrived the following day.
This seems very strange.
I have no intention of using lava bottles with this lamp as my Fireflow’s & pods struggle to get going properly,
Thought it would be nice for my GlitterBaby bottles instead, if I don’t hear from them today or tomorrow I’ll just cancel my order.

Same here, we don't buy any of their products now given we've had too many issues previously. I ran our Astro baby the other night, clear and white bottle. Our house temperature was 20 degrees and no drafts and it still took nearly three hours to get going. I don't hold out any hope of one of their new lamps running on just a tea light candle, they may run glitter bottles though that's a good idea.
