A few lamps i made

Hi there everyone! I have recently started making lava lamps and thought i would share a few with you.

Sure thing! A local bar was kind enough to donate a wide variety of liquor bottles to my cause, most of the ones in this photo are  standard 750 ml wine bottles but there is also a rum bottles 750ml  and a 1L jack bottle. Each 750ml bottle contains ~150ml of wax (acquired from magma tower) and 6-9ml of surfactant (also from magma tower). For a coil, i used 316 grade stainless steel extension springs purchased from Amazon, (****link here: https://tinyurl.com/ydggcuwg). For the base, I used paint cans purchased from a hardware store (link: https://tinyurl.com/y7ncnap3). I used a can opener to cut the bottom of the paint can out and cut a 2inch diameter circle into the lid. I wired a light fixture inside of it (link https://tinyurl.com/yafalyfv). I use 40-60 watt A15 light bulbs as a heating element/light source.
 ***** i bought the springs for about 8 USD, if you shop around you can usually find them for about that price
