Nice find!  Hope you got a good price on it. :)
Nice plastic-base Consort! And you only have five lamps? Most collectors don't get an unusual model that quickly. Lookin' good!
Great find.
A nice find (A huge understatement)
Been doing my homework, thanks to you all on the site. ;)

Not really but seeing as how these have been going in the 100-150 bone range that needed work, this one just needed a little cleaning up will post clean pics in a bit. Think I broke about even, if I were to get a used lamp in so so condition, plus shipping and to put a goo kit in one.... Came out still ahead with an all original one that needed really no work.

Picked up this Century red/clear Sunday in wimberly TX. Lady said the lava warms up but won't rise. Tried adding some propylene glycol to it...no rise. :(. Might have to goo kit this one. Bah, not bad for 24 bones, everything in good cosmetic shape.

Strange because the goo would shoot too the top if it were plain dis. water. what bulb are you using? Where did you find propylene glycol?
Matt, it has a 40 watt A15 appliance bulb in it. I picked up propylene glycol from the feed store. It is used for treating Toxosis in cows. They sell it by the gallon here for 29 bones. Thanks in advance for any info.
up the watts to 60 see if it pops
