Thanks for the answer. But, as far as i know, before lava lamp, the term "motion lamp" meant something different. It meant a lamp which has a "propeller" above the bulb. The heat generated by the bulb makes the air rise and rotate the propeller, which, in turn, rotates a cylinder with some kind of diagonal stripes on it. Such lamps were produced way before lava lamps in the U.S. by Econolite, they were also manufactured in the USSR, and are even still sold by IKEA. And they always were (and…
