<p>I've copper plated a few lamps</p>
<p>The thing to be aware of is that the lamp itself will get extremely hot to the touch.</p>
<p>I installed roll insulation in the inside of mine<br></br>As a result, the heat conductivity will also affect the flow because a lot of the heat gets transmitted from of the base of the lamp through the plating</p>

<p>I doubt this would be an issue with a larger lamp but is still is something to consider…</p>
