Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi,

another second hand lamp, another problem, that my mojo :-)

First the Fluidium Grande with bubbles (flushed it today)

Then my sticky Lunar (now without bottle but with a damaged cap)

Now the Grande.

I had a perfect flowing grande, but cloudy.

So today I decided to filter it with the "soldier easy filter".

I won't mention the troubles I had in the process (with the wax), but I finally got it clean and clear.

After few hours, my freshly filtered lamp started to flow.

Horror!

All I've got is something like I had with my Fluidium Grande but worst:

One water bubble gets up, pulling up the wax before splitting and that's all.

Repeat...

I just filtered it, and add 1 or 2 cm of water, that's all. And now the perfect flowing (but cloudy) free bubble lamp, changes in a clear bubble machine.

What I did wrong?

I'm so disgusted with second hand lamps so I guess I will now stick to new Mathmos.

Second hand lamps can definitely be tricky, but since you now have some nice lamps with bad lava, maybe you should just try a Goo Kit.

I guess I was moaning too soon :-)

I let it run all night, and this morning it was cured :-)

I don't understand what happen this night, but now it flows again (still have some water bubbles sometimes).

Alfred, Gookit is planned for my Fluidium Grande.

Too bad shipping to europe is so expensive.

We need a distributor here!
