After I’d received a couple of email requests, I forwarded them to eBay – and today received a reply from their phishing department (<abuse@eBay.com>).
The email simply said, in rather poor grammar:
"If you have been contacted by these emails to post products please respond us and let them because are suspicious of online fraud.
Ken Kucsan / kentel53@gmail.com
Margaret O'Brien / magobrien76@yahoo.com
Kenneth Ellerman / khrsinc@hotmail.com
For your security use secure payment methods. (Paypal)
Do not use Western Union / MoneyGram etc.
eBay INC."
So – just in case any of them try to buy lava lamps from you (or anything else for that matter) on eBay, please be warned.
