Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

After extensive testing,  I'm now offering many NEW glitter colors in clear fast liquid.  They are gorgeous!  Here are a few of the options.  I'll post them all below in this discussion and in my videos.

I've also developed replacement slow glitter formulas for the Florence Art, Heat Tapes, Mastercrafters, and Crestworth glitter lamps of the 60s and 70s.  The liquid in these formulas is non-flammable, non-combustible, and much less toxic than the fast, solvent-based liquid.

To simplify things, both fast and slow glitter liquid are now available at the same prices.  Here are some FAQs on the glitter liquid.

I fill all orders on a first come, first served basis.  I do all of the work by hand and take care to ensure quality.  Please allow 2-3 weeks from payment for delivery.

I'm so glad you like them.  Thanks for the business!

Hey Kirk, could you tell me where I can find a replacement plug for a grande globe?

Sure can.  The one I'm using comes from a company called MOCAP.  Here is a link to the one I'm using in the glittered Grandes.  You'll need to cut the flange a bit to fit the top of the Grande.

I'm using XW2.12/2.29YW1.

Thanks! And to keep the plug in you just use a piece of heatshrink, or the metal cap as well?

Plug, metal cap then heat shrink.

What Marley said.

Just to say that the glitter refill for a astrobaby bottle arrived today - survived the journey and I have just refilled a bottle with it - its on a telstar base heating up now, should look grate soon when it gets going.

Thanks very much

You're welcome, and thanks for letting me know it survived the journey, Tim.

Was the foil seal still intact on top of the container opening?  I want to make sure my container shipping is going as planned, and a long journey across the pond was a great test.

Yea the foil seal was intact as well - am impressed by the packing, very professional

Excellent, and thanks for the compliment.

So, sometime in the near future, would I be able to send my 8oz lamp and have it "glittered"? I have a black rocket base for it, and I would love to have a better glitter globe for it than the one I have. The 8oz glitter I have stops flowing after a few hours. And it doesnt flow anywhere near as good as your glitters.. The rocket base is stunning with a glitter on it. It came with a lava globe, but it was a crap one and the base doesnt look all that great with lava anyways.

I have an 8oz accent globe I sent off to Kirk. When I get it back I plan on letting it run for an endurance test. It uses a 15w bulb. I will report back so Kirk and everyone else knows how these globes handle the fast glitter. It was very inimpressive with lava so I was happy to experiment. Do you have a photo of your rocket? Where did you get it?
