Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

After extensive testing,  I'm now offering many NEW glitter colors in clear fast liquid.  They are gorgeous!  Here are a few of the options.  I'll post them all below in this discussion and in my videos.

I've also developed replacement slow glitter formulas for the Florence Art, Heat Tapes, Mastercrafters, and Crestworth glitter lamps of the 60s and 70s.  The liquid in these formulas is non-flammable, non-combustible, and much less toxic than the fast, solvent-based liquid.

To simplify things, both fast and slow glitter liquid are now available at the same prices.  Here are some FAQs on the glitter liquid.

I fill all orders on a first come, first served basis.  I do all of the work by hand and take care to ensure quality.  Please allow 2-3 weeks from payment for delivery.

Boules de Paillettes:

You gotta' love the French glitter lamps.  This one is spectacular.

This was a clear Wizzard globe, with cooked flakes that had turned translucent.

A little of Kirk's yellow dye and some of his wizard flakes and it looks amazing now in a mathmos jet lamp, with a jetstream cover over it:

It surely does look amazing!! Also, why do you refer to the glitter as "WIZARD FLAKES?" Is it just that they are very fine in size vs large?

They're just the same size as the original Wizzard lamp flakes.

It's a very fast moving fluid and I'd like another, but they weren't very common in the UK, so rarely see them for sale.

Hmmm, I PM'd kirk some questions with regards to 32oz globe glitter suggestions, I am thinking this might be nice as I am considering for a 32oz normal base with 40 watt bulb or clearview base with 25 watt project bulb. I think this fine glitter would look good for both, what ya think.

The Texas summer heat has taken hold.  With temperatures in my garage at a balmy 90 degrees, I'm ready for a break.

If you want something, please let me know by July 1st.

I'll be back when temperatures are cooler.  For Texas, that's mid-October!

do not blame ya!

Kirk, you did an amazing job with the two globes I provided. Glad I paid you extra because you're really good at this! My old lamps are beautiful again :) I'll definitely be asking you to do business in the future :D maybe a grande next time?

A Crestworth Living Jewel with original fluid and blue and yellow stripes on the base of the bottle.

The flakes were cooked, and fluid slightly discoloured, so I exchanged the flakes for Kirk's small silver hexagonal flakes (the wizard flakes).

In person it looks beautiful....proper pixie dust!

^^ Nice!

Love it, Mark.
