Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

So I'm going to try to goo kit the Chinese lamp I got a few weeks ago that stopped working after two weeks of use. I figure it's worth it since I got a full refund on the lamp. If I can get it working, then hey, free lamp, right? Despite the fact that the globe is full of pinhole sized bubbles, it's a beautiful looking lamp that's totally worth a shot.

The problem is that I ordered a goo kit like a week and a half ago, and not only did they not send me any shipping info, they're also not answering my emails. Those of you who have ordered goo kits before--is their shipping usually pretty quick? I feel like the kit should have been here by now.

Also, for the record, I've had ZERO luck every getting through to Lava Lite via phone or email. They don't seem to want to answer my messages. Kind of beside the point now, but I just find it very frustrating. The companies I have worked for would never tolerate such bad customer service.

goo kit shipping takes forever.  i had a similar experience as you and finally gave up with them after getting wax that had tons of bubbles in it.  they finally replaced it after lots of e-mails back and forth, but it was more of a hassle than it was worth, and the new wax had the same problem.

I also had a long shipping wait time. Never got tracking or any info that my order shipped/received. I would say it was about 1.5-2 weeks after ordering that it arrived. I got a duplicate dye color too. They shipped out the proper color, free of charge, but again took about two weeks to arrive.

It took my first shipment 2 weeks to arrive.  I read that they have a problem with getting the email orders down to the shipping dept.  It was suggested somewhere on here that it is better to order it via telephone but if you are ordering online that you give them a follow up call to make sure that the shipping dept. got the order.  So, the 2nd time I ordered I did call and I got it in a week and a half instead of 2.

oh, and regarding LL customer service...i'm pretty sure susan either works alone or has limited help.  someone like critter would know better, but the limited responses is typical in my experience.  keep calling and you will get through, and they will eventually take care of you.  it stinks, but that's just how it is for whatever reason.

She replaced my 52 oz neon green with a yellow/purple and it took about 4 weeks.

so...i was about to order a goo kit...is any of this still a problem?
