Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

So, I'm starting to hoard bulbs because of the crazy lunatics on Capitol Hill who think that banning incandescents will save the environment (don't get me started on what the mercury's going to do to the water tables when folks start pitching the broken "twisties...").  I'm all for saving the whales, and the seals, and the polar bears, and Al Gore's career as a scientist, but the CFLs won't warm the goo!

Off the soap box and on to the real question.  Where can I buy bulbs at reasonable prices?  Lowes and Home Depot are getting tired of having to restock when I leave!  Oh yeah, and has anyone actually put together a list of which lamps require which bulbs yet?

Cheers, Kelly.

I saw the 1000bulbs.com website and the bulbs.com site.  I think I'll reach out to both to see if they have wholesale prices.
Heres a chance to pimp my thread... *edit damn james beat me to it.
There is a list of bulbs needed by most(soon all) of lava lite brand lamps here at the bottom of the page.

If you see any lamps not listed that you want listed let me know and I will find out what they use and add it to the list.

LOL, I actually have the Cosmic Windows sitting on the mantle now...  Am enjoying them every evening!  :)

Try finding a bulb that will fit a Colossus lamp - now that's a challenge. - lol

For anyone that needs to find UK bulbs, I strongly recommend checking out this Ebay-UK store -

http://stores.ebay.com/dbaelectric

I have found their service to be "outstanding" , and their prices are unbelievably low.
I had contacted Mathmos directly, inquiring about purchasing 10 Lunar bulbs.
They said they would be happy to sell and ship them to me at a total cost of $160.00.
Then I found dbaelectric and got 10 Lunar bulbs for only $28.00 ( this included shipping!! )
I have hoarded 40 Lunar bulbs and 30 Telstar bulbs from them. :)

How are those awesome Fantasia Cosmic windows of yours doing?
Please remember me if you ever decide to sell. :)
You guys rock!  Now I won't have to open a million boxes!  :)

Do you still have your Cosmic Window lamp? If so I am in the market for one.
