Grande trend

So, I have been keeping an eye out for grandes across various websites as Walmart was clearing out yellow/blue models for $49. I went to buy one the next day and out of stock.

Alot of online stores are showing out of stock on some of the models including lava lamp themselves.

I don't think that sales of grandes have spiked suddenly considering their cost.

I wonder if the timing has anything to do with the sale of the company.

Now, i am keeping my eyes on walmart (and JET.COM, walmart owns them) to see if and when they clear out the other colors which are currently hovering in the $70's right now. If and when those drop to near $50 I will snag one.

I am also waiting for my replacement bottle to arrive on my red/yellow grande, should be tomorrow.

I feel like something is up, but I could be wrong.

Grandes tend to sell out after Christmas, before the next production runs make it to inventory. Some color combos aren't replaced every year though.

^^ Makes sense but not 100% sure that's the reason. i wonder if they are stocking less of the existing models to push the custom models as they don't want those sitting around forever plus no one other than lava lamp carries the custom models.
