Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

there are some really cool ones out there.  what kinds of halloween decorations do you all have up at your houses?  i'm especially interested to see what our friends across the pond are up to.  i've already seen some photos of some decorations on the forum, so let's see some more.

speaking of halloween decorations, i came across this gem while searching for some flickering skeleton lights:

Whoa!!!  225.00 for those!!!!!!!  They are sweet though I must admit...if only I were rich!!!  lol!!!  I guess I can add mine to this thread....

Halloween is getting bigger and bigger each year in the UK... some say it will soon be bigger than Christmas !!!

As a kid  in the 60s at school we made lanterns out of turnips and swedes and cut a few witches, bats, skeletons ect in black paper and stuck them on the windows... Bobbed for Apples and that was about it.

I never heard of Trick or Treat until I was about Ten when my American cousins came to visit and told my brother and I all about it... it sounded so exiting to us... we misinterpreted them and for years thought it was called "Treacle Treat" !!!

I believe films like E.T. first got the Trick or Treat ball rolling  over here.

Wow!!! No beggin for candy??!! Lol!!!

Whoa Brad, that is like a pumpkin bubble light Menorah! I see you Israel..

Nice decorations Carol, those black lights add just the right touch of ambient glow to make the skulls and window pane pop!

HAHAHA Pete, Treacle Treat! That sounds like a line ripped straight from the Gremlins! E.T. got my brother and I hooked on ghost costumes and Reeses Pieces. Then as we got older I was always a wizard/pirate and my brother was usually a punk rocker or a Ninja Turtle. Maybe I can dig up an old photo and scan it/take a picture of it and add it to the thread.

Hey Vox, gotta give credit to yours truly for the cfl black light idea!!! Thanxs!!! It did do the trick!!!

it's always neat to hear about holiday traditions from people around the globe.  thanks for sharing!

the pumpkin bubble light is neat, though a bit expensive.  it's Radko, so of course it won't be cheap!

anyone else decorating for halloween this year?
