Not that I'm personally interested but I thought the price was a bit cray cray.

I guess it's whatever the market decides. But that was posted 9 days ago, and I remember someone posted the link in chat this past week, however it's still there for sale. It doesn't look like it's generating too much interest. Being cloudy is a factor too.
If that were crystal clear and in "mint" condition, there might just be a collector out there that would take an interest. Lamps are down as far as the market goes with the economy being in the crapper and all, but any time something isn't produced anymore does drive the value up. It's really hard to say with these lamps anymore. If someone REALLY had money to burn, they could even buy it and restore it with a goo kit. Not that anymore would want to spend that kind of money on something and have to not keep it in it's original state......I guess time will tell if it sells..
The lamp price is not in line with the products value. The liquid is severely clouded and is only going to get cloudier if shipped. I would value this lamp at between 300.00 and 500.00 tops. Why would you want to buy a lamp that is ruined especially for 1500. Once you pop the cap off to goo kit this lamp its going to lose 75 percent of it's value due to object no longer being in original condition.
There you have it.
Is there anything else I can assist you with at this time?
