Mathmos any info please

Hi I am new to the site , I am trying to find info on this lamp/lantern... any help much appreciated. Different from many I seen, this has a factory dimmer and on off switch on cord. Also dated NOV 71 .... Regards Steve

Hello Steven and welcome to OG!! I am not familiar with the Coach type lamps at all, but did find the following info, posted in the link below, in the Lava Library in hope it might help you. Several members here collect this type of lamp, and I am sure will be able to tell you more about yours when they see your post. I've never seen ANY vintage Crestworth lamp with a dimmer. I've also never seen one with a hex nut under the base, which makes me wonder whether it was added after purchase. Either way, it's cool and unusual, and a dimmer is handy on a lava lamp, as it can be used to vary the flow somewhat.
