I'm getting one and I swear, if it's not pristine, it'll be the last one I buy EVER!!! I got the red one and it was $37 shipped (yikes).

Looks like two of them are already out of stock:

Please keep us posted. I wonder if these have made their way to Spencer's.....

Per their Facebook page:

You asked for new lamps, here they are! Check out our NEW 17"/ 32 oz. Designer Lava Lamps. Custom painted base and cap with pinhole base. These lamps are awesome. Currently available on our website, and several retail locations later in the summer.
If you purchase one of these lamps, please let us know what you think. We'd love to hear from you at socialmedia@lavalite.com.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Also odd that right as soon as they release them on their site, two of the colors are already out of stock. Disappointing.
I'm curious to see if they have actually designed the bases to resemble centuries like that with the larger bottom cone, either way it is really rewarding to see this product released. When a company actually takes the advice of its fans it's really awesome.
Either that or they slapped some colored sticky paper around the bottom of old bases they had lying around...
I am not too sure what to make of this - first of all I see them and think sweet they are making nice lamps.

However knowing LL's track record this could be a bit of a marketing spin just to get more interest in there dodgy products, if that's the case then the same rubbish formula is being used and probably just new bases are being made.

I should say that the last three I bought - 3 with manufacture date of 12/10 were better flowing and clearer than any China I bought the year before...but I played it safe and bought them at Spencer's...
There isn't a century line this year so the base shapes will remain the same just different colors and with the new pinholes. The 52 oz line is similuar to these 32 oz. lamps just bigger and with other color combos. I've seen 7 of the new 52 oz lamps and 4 of them are spencer only exclusives so you can only find them at Spencers. I know that the 32 oz will also be available be at spencers as well but they will also be available at target and LL's website too.

Do want! Don't care for the price & agree that I'd rather see them in action @ Spencer's, wait for a sale then snatch. I love the design & hope the chrome like colors are true to life!

Tim prior to you joining OG,  LL was here to get our feedback and this was the main issue stressed to them over and over again.  During the time they were here on OG, they hired a old biochemist from back in the LW days and sent him over to china to fix the issue. Since then I've been speaking the LL marketing rep and she assured me no more cloudy globes. Now weather or not she is right remains to be seen but I dont think she would blow smoke up my ass for the hell of it.

all are painted bases. The shrink wrap crap lamps are the obvious ones like sponge bob marley etc.

I will wait till Spencers has them for sale and look at there displays as they flow.  However they look nice and I like that ring of pin holes. The base does have a nice color to them and they should be painted we hope.
