Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

THANKS, OOZING GOO FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND INTEREST OVER THE YEARS!

Mandatory post update is MANDATORY.

In addition to the modded lamps that I have been selling, I will soon be offering slow glitter in LOOSE form (not contained in one of my lamps)! A lot of you have been asking for a long time now. The glitter contained in that liquid can be ANY shape you choose, and many colors, including prismatic!

But for right now, you can design your perfect lamp in lava or glitter, at the following rates:

$40 per regular glitter

$45 for replacement color glitter

$50 for lava

$55 for Custom cut glitter in any shape

Post here or in a PM (you'll need to send me a friend invite first) with your color choices. Please also state whether you want a lava lamp or a glitter lamp. I also now offer replacement glitter in 14 colors! There is an additional charge of $5 per lamp for that, but the custom color combinations are almost limitless.

ALSO...I am finally taking orders for custom cut glitter! I can also do cut glitter in virtually ANY SHAPE, so let me know if you want something special! Higher rates apply if you need me to render your design from scratch, but not by much.

- I will make a mockup of the lamp that you requested if you would like, so that you can see it. Then, we'll both be sure we're on the same page, as far as what you want.

- This will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but orders requiring anodizing will have to be skipped temporarily. I hope to be able to mod several lamps in a day, so don't despair too much if you are down pretty far on the list!

- I have a set list of paint colors, but if you really want a color that is not listed, just tell me what color you want, whether you want matte, gloss, satin, metallic, satin, or fleckstone paint...I'll see if I can find it. I know that matte and metallic colors are harder to find in variety though, so be aware of that. I can also seal your glossy lamp with a matte sealer, if you like.

- Once you have made your final decisions, you can send payments to my paypal address. I will then begin work immediately on your order,

Please note - I STILL am not currently equipped to handle anodizing...only unpainted silver bases, and painted ones until then. If you want metallic blue, red, grey, gold, silver, bronze, amber, or black, and do not want to wait, I have metallic paint in those colors. Just state your desires in your post. :)

This order is a statement that you intend to buy, but I'm not a nazi. I understand that life sometimes throws curve balls at us all. Only, if you have to cancel, please do it as soon as you can, to decrease the chances that I've made your order already!

Oh, and thanks Libby! What were you doing stuck all up there on top of Erin and Autumn? :p

EGAD, Loren, that was a horribly unfortunate choice of words!!!  :-)   I am laughing my butt off!!    MM aka Trevor, this goes under the new "dirty" thread.......LOL

I merely answered your post first, and you are most welcome.  I meant every word I wrote, sweetie!!

P. S.   I like Erin and Autumn, but they're not my gender choice.   My Husband would not be happy and neither would I.  OH HELP!  :-)    This is hilarious......

Hi Loren! I'm very interested in ordering two lamps from you, as I really like the look of your lamps for my purposes. Specifically, I'm looking to make two lamps Portal style, clear liquid in each, with orange wax in one, and blue wax in the other. My girlfriend and I have a portal themed room, and this is something I couldn't get anywhere else! If you're familiar with Portal 2, then you can guess what it is I'm looking for. The bases I'm a bit conflicted on, as anodized orange and blue would look really cool, but perhaps metallic paint would be better. Your input would be invaluable on the subject, as you are more familiar with your end-products than I am. Thanks!

Bump.... LOREN, you have a potential order!   Where are you?

Thanks, Lib!

And sorry I didn't see this until now!

Unfortunately I still can't anodize, but I have metallic blue and orange paint. :) The orange is a low-saturation orange, looking more like metallic coppery amber, but it's definitely orange still.

I MIGHT even be able to do a custom logo job, but I would need to seriously look into what I'd need to do that. I might be able to make a stencil, though... That would cost a little extra, but I think I could do it.

I have been having a series of personal obstacles to overcome recently...things have been kinda bad for me, but I think I'm coming out of it now. I don't even know where to begin...

I mite be looking to copy one of Erin's lamps lol..... the top tart lamp! is it extra cost for me to send u a base and 32oz LL globe?

I hope the best for u !!! Ive missed seeing you around here

I'm sorry to hear you've been having troubles, it's hard to find time for the things you enjoy doing when life throws hard curve balls.
Metallic paint for the bases would be cool! An Aperture logo stenciled would be well worth paying for. I've read the entirety of the thread, but can't really gauge how long it takes for you to acquire parts, are these materials available to you?

You are most welcome, Loren!!   I pray you are feeling better and that all is well with your Daddy!!  Good to see you back!

Ok, first off to Kyle, I am still looking into what it's going to take to get that logo on there, but I'm still not sure what the best way to go about doing that is, or what to charge for it. I know that if I have to cut a stencil it will likely be a bit more expensive. I am looking into alternatives!

Lava is $50. I'm fairly sure I announced this price difference a while ago, but here it is again. Glitters are still $40, but lava is $50 because of the added costs for the goo and dye.

...Which brings me to the second part. I ordered a small lot of 100 lamps from China, and I have been custom modding them and refilling them with various things. Unfortunately I cannot manufacture bases at this point, I really wish that I could!

And hey Trev-o! You really want a 32oz rainbow glitter like Erin's?

I think I can do that...but I might have to order some more glitter first. I can just send it in plastic water bottles. :)

And thank you again, Libby!

Oh...and how is your replacement blue glitter holding up?

And how about your clear/pink lava, Phishy?

In that case... I have an extra Fluidium globe I mite do the pop tart lamp on it ! They are 52oz so 55 should cover it. I'll send u a pm when I'm ready

Hi Loren!  My replacement blue and "puke green" glitters are still both going strong and are lovely!!   And if I had no problem re-filling and re-corking, I know Trev won't.....LOL

Since you mentioned that metallic orange/amber base to Kyle, I have my original metallic amber you made me.   It has an orange glitter globe in it.   If you still have pics, you could show him those, and if not, I think it's in my pics on here.  I need to take a shot in better light, so he can see the true color of the base/cap.   Glad you're back, buddy!!
