<p>This one may not be worth the hassle of fixing. I think you might be on the right track with boiling it. Personally I wouldn't transfer from a new neon since the globes are the same size. I would look for a couple of smaller lamps to use for donor lava. Oh, but get the purple neon anyway. You'll love it just as it is. ;)<br></br> <br></br> <cite>Jamie said:…</cite></p>

<p>tonight im gonna empty the liquid and boil the wax and see if that does anything. if that doesnt work, i think im just gonna empty it and refill it with a spencers neon purple since they are on sale right now.... anyone need some blue liquid from 1991? Ill send it in a plastic bottle or something if you pay shipping.</p>

<p>Not a bad price. The detached wax could have been from overheating if it had been on for several hours. If you are using the bulb that it came with you might want to check to see if it is 40 watt. It may have a higher wattage bulb in it.<br/> <br/> <cite>Jamie said:</cite></p>
