So I just wanted to post an update to my Lava lamp issue. The adding of the distilled water did the trick. Ended up having to put enough in to bring the level back to where it was supposed to be. I want to say thank you so so very much for the advise. This lamp means the world to me and I am happy to be able to enjoy it once again.…

Great to hear bro. Glad you can have some good memories of your grandmother when you see this beautiful lamp going through its motions. I to have and acrylic multi colored square pattern lamp from the 50's-60's that my grandmother always had hanging, a swag type lamp to be exact. But when I see it have so many fond memories of her and the good times I had at her place when I was a kid. Glad it can be enjoyed once again, and post some pics. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the advise. The distilled water was the ticket. Still need to add just a little more but it is working 100 times better. So you can see in my picture that the fluid was a bit low in it. I have it almost filled back to the top and it is a thing of beauty. This has made my day. Thanks again so very much.

Mr MaGoo said:…

Just add a little distilled water at a time, if you do too much then we will have to start messing with epson salts and we don't want to have to do that. Try it and let us know, patience and a little distilled water at a time. Good luck shane!
