I tried to replace the glitter but no go. At least I learned how to filter so I did learn something out of all this! (Coffee filter in a jar with the sealer cap out.) I did discover, as I figured, it had a good amount of rust in it from the cap and the plug was junk. The glitter was completely clear and/or rust colored, which explained the yellowish tint to it.
Sorry guys, yea Loren does do fantastic glitters - we are spoilt for choice for glitter options hear on goo.

I think your best option would be for a complete refill / redo - it looks as though the fluid has eaten / dissolved some of the glitter - making it loose its color. If it were a lava lamp then adding more water or wax would do but as we don't know much about the formula of USA glitter lamps its not as easy to just add water or another solvent etc.

Jim…

I sent Loren a message but haven't heard back. Critter advised me to ask him. I have some other empty vessels that I may try to glitterize just for something to do, but being this one is not a Chinese wonder at least if I can replace some of the invisible glitter I would be happy. :)
