So sorry for your sad story Per. I hope you find a replacement sometime.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hi and share my sad story about these lamps. Some 25 years ago I was in Paris with my parents visiting one of the enormous flee markets in the south parts of the city. I was already back then a sucker for different looking lamps and on this market a seller had two of these boiling lamps. One shaped as three balls with a red liquid and one like a screw with some orange liquid and greenish stones. I don’t remember how much the seller wanted, but we could only bring one. So I ended up with the “screw”.

7 years ago I was moving to a house and stored some of my stuff in a garage for three nights. What I didn’t think of was that the last night it got very cold outside.... Guess what... my precious lamp was frozen with glass, stones and liquid all over the box. It is not often I get that sad over a thing, but it felt like I could cry.

since then I have been looking for a new lamp like this one. Never found one. In fact, today is the first day I even found any information about these magnificent lamps at all. So happy I found this place and more people that actually love these fantastic lamps.

Well, now I should just find one (or two). Life is pretty boring without a French boiler lamp!! So any hint is welcome (reasonable price)!!
