My 'hand held' french 'boiler' bought from Majorca Spain in 1984! I'm using an old fibre optic lamp base to warm it through in this picture.

yes sadly it just went 'pop' one day. I think it is a current thing as this is on continental voltage (120v) and I didn't use a converter, just an adaptor. oops!
