Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

This tiny baby was abandoned by the evicted renters. He was in the woods, starving, wounded, scared. I caught him Thursday afternoon. We have completely bonded, his wounds are already starting to heal, his dull thin coat is starting to get a bit of shine and he purrs non stop. He won't let me out of his site and needs to be on my shoulder or stuck in my bra all the time! Ha! He is facinated by the Lavas so I named him Goober. first baby in the house in 15 years. I am totally besotted.

Too beautiful a creature to have been abandoned so cruelly. Thank goodness for kind souls like you K

Oh yeah it's a beautiful morning after a rainy day. The Goob is off putting his little nose into everything, using the litter box and ate breakfast with the Big Girls this morning without any growling. Right now he's inside a paper sack doing all the I'm a kitty in a paper sack stuff.
Another real nice thing, no spraying. In the wild spraying would have given away his position so he's not a sprayer.
Ooops found him! He's playing with my toes.
Hahahahaha!
My Little Lava Love Boy.

Aloof annoyance.
Initially both Delores and Maxine came to him with a nose sniff but it scared The Goob to have bigger beings so close so he went on the defensive big time freaking out Himself and The Girls. Since then there have been a few low growls here and there but mostly a stance of aware aloofness and both feel the kitten is all over their bra straps.

It's clear Goob is quite smart and is going to be a gorgeous cat. Looooong thin legs, feet and body, angular head with sharply pointed ears, golden eyes and solid black. Once his body wounds and mind wounds recover from the horrors of being a bitty babe, (he's about 2-3 months old, should still be on the tit), abandoned in the woods filled with bobcats, foxes, hawks, owls, crows etc whose fave meal is sweet tender baby meat he's going to be a great new roommate.
He's on my shoulder now with his little head buried in my neck. My heart is exploding with love.
