Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

This is a picture of 4 of my lamps. I thought it made a nice photo even though the two lamps on the left have appeared in pictures before. Details for the two on the right are included with another picture that was taken on Feb. 07, 2010. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll tell you what I've used in the past to get that shine you mention. One product is called MAAS. I think it's made in Germany. It's good at cleaning a lot of metals and doesn't seem to remove the finish. I got it at Walgreen's pharmacy. The other is Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. It is probably a better product although it needs to be stirred every time you use it since the oils separate from the sediment. Both work great. I apply and remove it with a double sided jewelry cloth which can be bought at Wal-Mart at the jewelry counter. The cloth has a cleaning side and a polishing side. I just use the polishing side for applying and removing.

Great and shiny too. Lamps look at their best when given a good polish.

Classic Century and Carlisle, I love the oldies.
