Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

My first Excalibur lamp and OMG ... it's way bigger than I thought it was! I got this on Craigslist for a STEAL. It's in mint condition and was made in Sept. of 2002. Anyone know who sold these and how much they were at the time of sale?

This is a beautiful lamp, Erin.  I've wanted one of these ever since I saw one a few years ago.  Congrats on your find!

Yea I think $60 is more accurate, cause I remember getting mine on sale because it was literally the last of them, and you know how discontinued stuff usually goes on sale so it all gets sold.

Thanks for the info, people! That helps! I need to create a page for these lamps in the Lava Library. :) I'd love to have a lava one, but since this one is near perfect, I'm not touching it!

I have this same one which I bought in 2000 for $60. I also bought one with silver glitter/clear liquid. Back then, I'd see more of the glitter version than of the lava. They came in 3 different cap tops: sunburst, crescent moon, and a very rare peace symbol.

Don't you feel good though when you buy a new lamp???  Especially when it's a bargain.....I'm like you, I cannot pass up a good bargain.  And for that lamp Erin, it's stunning!!!

I saw this on Craigslist and couldn't pass it up. Not for the price I paid! :) And I couldn't find the tornado lamp in stores anywhere here, so I got it off Amazon.

Yes, put a can of soda next to it so we can get an idea of how big it is.  I like those sparkly bases.  My classic 20 oz came with that type of silver base.  Really sets the lamp off nice!  You needed some new lamps huh?
