Keith, that blue is pretty spot on to the original LL blue!!!  I wanted to do my son's darker then the blue that it is, but he was like Nooooo...I like it light blue, so I left it alone.  I used those air brush colors that they load into those cake decorating guns.  I do think the McCormick food coloring fades out fast for some reason.  I still cover the lamps that are in sunlight though.....again, looks wonderful!!!  Glad it's not fading too....if my son's blue fades, I'm going with the Sharpies!!!

I will heed the glove advice. I drain ink lines and print heads on our in house printer and always realize I should buy/wear gloves AFTER I have made my hands look like a rainbow. I spend that following week looking like I have a Pixie Stix problem.

Pretty easy to do, I wear latex gloves cause it's a hands-on process.
