Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Boilers collected by Karoll, a French glitter collector who introduced me to the wild world of French lighting, boilers, lavas and glitters. Wherever you are, Karoll, you're missed. L to R: Fountainboiler, box base with two bubbles, little blue handboiler, coil with frosted bulb chamber, large handboiler on pedestal, and boiler with necked center column.

Yup. I have only one and it's still super cool. I do like the lava type boilers/bubblers, because they're actually very unlike a lava lamp in effect. I call them "lava" bubblers because the thick colored oil they use is very similar in appearance, if not action, to the thick oil used as lava in French lava lamps.

These are "my kind of" boilers!!  Not so keen on the "lava lamp" type!  A whole bunch of these in action and....Well you just feel you've stumbled into some weird lab!! .....AWESOME!!

Edwin, I don't own any boilers in this photo. I own the green one in one of the photos, and no others. The collection shown above was in France.
