Hmm yeah i hear you.. Im not settling for this lamp, I wil definitely try to get it replaced. I also had a 52oz blue/yellow but after some time the blue got so dark it was hard to see the flow, so i dumped it and refilled with distilled water, soap and salt. But now i would use glycerin instead of salt, both work.

I had the same problem with my purple clearview, which was NOT clear, it was horrible.  You can see it in my pictures on my page here on OG.   That white stuff was in it, but I ordered it from Spencers, so couldn't check it personally.   We don't have a store where I live.  I'll just have to dump it and put something else in it.   I also have a blue/yellow Grande that's not cloudy, but the liquid is so dark blue that you can't see the lava.  The flow is terrible too.  I think I'll paint the base/cap, and re-fill the globe with glitter like Loren did with his.  I don't think your Grande will clear up unless you have better luck than I do.  I can let them sit in a cool room for a month and they settle to perfectly clear, but the instant I fire them up, that white stuff clouds them up again. Very frustrating!!

Yeah that heavy white stuff is very strange. I just went to spencers to check out some clearview and all three of their clear/red globes had a fat chunk of white sediment right on top of the wax.. The grande looked better yesterday after cycling it once, but today 7 hours into its cycle i cannot see ANYTHING. Its so bad i need to use a flashlight to see where the blobs are at.

I feel like Susan will do her best for you, Rodrigo.  I don't know what that white stuff is, but it won't go away.  Wishing you good luck in getting a replacement!

Yeah, that white powder stuff you're talking about is settling heavily on my lamp but I don't know if it will stay down or not... In gonna call Susan tomorrow.

I have never gotten a China lamp to clear, ever.  It has that white powder like gunk on, in, and under the wax that just fogs it right back up.   I'm glad we have Susan!!  ;-))

That's a real shame, Rodrigo.  Hope you are able to get it replaced and keep the old globe to make something spectacular!

Ill give them a call. The globe looks a bit better after a cool down, let's see after it's second cycle but either way I don't wanna wait weeks for it to be marginally clear. I want a crystal clear lamp out of the box so ill be replacing it. Hopefully they let me keep it and I can think of a few things to so with a massive empty bottle..

LL usually sends you a new lamp and they let you keep the old one...
