Hey Carol, did this work out?

So I unfolded the lint coil, cut off what I didn't need and made a thinner rounder coil to sit inside of the original.  I redid my pink lamp and between the original coil and the lint filter coil that I fitted for the middle, the lamp flows and is working great again!!!!!!!!!  If anyone wants to try this but isn't quite sure how to cut them down, let me know and I will do a youtube vid showing exactly how to make these and reshape them.  It's super easy and they work great!!!  Now, I do still have the original coil in there.  I haven't used this as a coil all by itself yet, but maybe someone who wants to kit and doesn't have a coil who feels experimental would like to try.  My problem was I wasn't liking the flow I was getting on LL's coil alone in my 52 oz kits.  So now I have a coil that is a cross between a LL original and a MT goo kit screen, lol!!!  It's a 2 in 1'er!!  lol!!  Oh, btw, they are stainless steel and rust resistant so no worries about long term inside of a lamp.

Haaaaaa, not to ghetto, huh?  lololol!!!  So I dropped it in my pink, angered the lava gods a bit and got tons of bubbles......but then, a bit of different flow.  At least the coil is breaking up the goo a bit so it's not doing just the column thing.  I noticed I also don't need as much heat as b4.  It's really hard to tell if this will work as a loner in a lamp though.  I won't know until I score another complete 52 oz'er to kit, then I will drop this in as a one only coil and see what gives. Right now all it is doing is working with the original coil to help break up some of the goo.  Still not the greatest flow, but I keep tryin!!!

That is a potential thug-ass coil!
