Thanks, I'm flattered. Almost wish I hadn't posted it yet - found a photoset I thought I'd lost, of glitterboiler no. 1 (pink), and it shows a label I don't have there, so that's been added. First one I've seen with a manufacturer other than F. Vaudan or S. Vera - this one says "Creations Artisanales M.U.C. Paris".

I actually showed him yours (above). He was impressed, too!

Yes, he made up and entire country. Shaped kinda like Australia and all cities are made up. Highways, airports, etc. It's all there. PM me and I'll send it to you. It's pretty cool!

An entire country (I assume an RPG map) in Paint? I'd love to see that... MS Paint has a (somewhat deserved) rep online for being the vehicle for many people to make horrible-looking art attempts, and has become a sort of running gag, so I enjoy seeing what can really be done with it.

My boyfriend has created an entire imaginary country and mapped it out in MS Paint. It's quite impressive. He also did it with a touchpad only, no mouse was used. I'm always a little stunned with stuff from MS Paint looks this cool! :)

Thanks, Erin! The list began in early 2006, and I added boilers as I found them. The fonts used for two of the stickers (Creation Modele Depose and the rectangular Creation S. Vera sticker) are typed fonts I downloaded, to get them exactly right and well-shaded. The S. Vera parchment scroll sticker is hand-drawn from a photo I have of the boilers it's attached to. While I love using oddball fonts I can't draw, I also enjoy doing reasonable facsimiles by hand, and there's no way in Paint to type on a curve (like the banner Fait Main stickers and the TC Modele Depose) so those must be drawn. I do a lot of other art in Paint for my own amusement, virtually none of it is posted anywhere online. Most isn't lamp-related.

I love that you did this in MS Paint! Very impressive.

New, updated list! My last posted version had 90 items - this has over 130! Lots more Bubblers, another double fountain, a few more interesting boilers (most on the far right, a few mixed in elsewhere alongside similar models), a new lavaboiler with a towering nozzle or jet and another with cylindrical indentations, etc. Boilers no. 10 (donut) have now been seen three times with an outer globe cover, leading me to add it as a possible accessory! If anyone has any photos of boilers not pictured here, PLEASE send them my way (jcefoundit@gmail.com) so I can add them. This includes models shown in colors not shown - say, if you have a photo of the boilers with donut, no. 10, in a color besides blue, red or fluorescent yellow.
