The fibers are glass but paul cleaned them using white spirit so they look as good as new. This version fibres don't revolve but the taller version of this lamp (also owed by paul andcalled the Mistral) does revolve.

Yes, cool graphics indeed and how those c's predate pacman by about 7 years! but look just like him. I will find out more about this baby.(this lamp is part of my friend Paul's interesting and eclectic collection of fibres and lavas.

Love the Pac-Man font. Can you give any details? Does the spray revolve? Color wheel and, if so, what colors or pattern? I assume the spray is plastic, but it could be glass. AFAIK, only companies experimenting with glass optical fiber (Cuda Prod., Dolan Jenner, Electro/Valtec/Vicon, etc.) used glass, but I could be wrong - plastic fiber optics were widely used for lamps in the 70s (notably the common Poly-Optics/Hobby Opticals).
