Thank you, just got done with gookit on that globe, dyed it blue and capped it today, pretty satisfied with it. I still haven't heard from Susan as far as when she will ship one out and what not but I'm already considering what I should do with the horribly cloudy one...

So I talked to Susan today and she didnt even need me to explain how bad the globe and cap looks, she's gonna send a new one my way sometime this week so ill keep you guys posted on how it arrives. And you were all right, she's awesome and obviously willing to make her customers happy which is good.

Loren is about to be overwhelmed with orders.......He said Soylent, Erin and Mike had already asked and then I did too.   I need his "recipe."  ;-))

Rodrigo, the cap on my Grande does not fit snug, it rocks a bit.

Thanks for the lead Trevor. Ill definitely look into that as soon as I can confirm I get to keep the cloudy one as well. Also does the cap on your grande lamps fit snug?? I have some china 52s with caps that seem too wide and my grande cap is smashed so i wouldnt expect it to fit well anyways but im just wondering if these grande caps fit good.

Yeah, definitely a grande glitter lol. Problem is where to get the glitter and all that. Either sacrifice some lamps or make my own glitter formula which I've never messed with glitter.

Yeah I hear you. Well it's actually easier than it seems and very entertaining, the key is to be patient or else you'll tend to overdo adjustments or colors with the dye lol. I really hope I can get ahold of Susan tomorrow and have her straighten out this issue, plus I'd love to keep this grande as well and experiment, maybe glitter? Considering options. Lol

Rodrigo, had I bought this Grande new, I would have returned it too, but it came from Craig's list and was a very good price.  My sister picked it up for me, so I never saw it until she brought it to me.   I'll just have to re-fill it.  It's too dark, and is not attractive at all.   I've not done any "lab work" yet, but will eventually.  I have the supplies.
