Going to UK, buying some lamps. Is this much enough to prevent tears dropping down someone's eyes?

That should help as well but if the case is not a hard shell or simmiler then that could cause a problem.

I'm planning to put the two lava lamp boxes into a suitcase marked as fragile and stuffed with pillows. Will that be ok?

Is that a hard sheled case - if so then it should work.
