Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Gorgeous colors, but they need more heat. Currently on 25W bulbs. 40W seems to be too much. The globes wobble in the bases, too. Still lovely to watch however.

I run mine on the smaller 30watt reflecter bulbs

why not consider dimmer as option for heat control.. get that mid point..

Cool.  I think I'm going just leave my Crestworth as is and use the converter.  But I'm sure this info will come in handy at some point.

The only downside is that 40W bulbs can be too hot and 25W bulbs don't provide adequate flow. However, I'd recommend 40W over 25, flow-wise. Depends on the temp of your room.

Nice.  Did you rewire these or use a converter?  I got my first UK lamp yesterday and have it on a converter.  Works great.
