I bought this direct from Lava Lite. the pink is fluid. I've done the 4 hr. cycle but not long enough. Even the base on this was dented. They're supposed to ship me a replacement on Monday.

What I find odd is the other picture looks as if it it's all wax and no fluid.
I had a really cloudy 32oz.
I ran it 4 hours on, 4 hours off for weeks. After about 6 weeks it was crystal clear.
So i know the procedure works, it just takes time.

You would have to run it 4 hours on 4 hours off for about 2 weeks to see a change, it takes time when they are that cloudy. A cheap dial timer is perfect for that.

I did run it. I think the lava was working inside, but it was difficult to tell. I could detect some movement at the bottom and top, and if I put a very bright light behind it, it looked like stuff was moving. However, after running it for 5 hours, no change. I let it cool down and repeated that a couple of times. It's no different now.

I think that is a new color called "pink clouds"....Just kidding !! Actually it looks like it was frozen at some point, try running it and see what happens.
