It shows up better in person than it does in the pics. Thanks for the compliment!

I have to say.. to all our fellow Goo heads... I am surprised that none of you noticed our starlight makeovers...

that the ordinary white glow that comes from the bases is now emanating all these great colors instead.. photos really do these colors little justice.. in person they are fantastic and very bold..

they are Rosco E-Colour stage light color gels ...

I forgot to mention that all the bases except the pink have colored pieces of plastic behind the moons and stars. Thanks Kira for this awesome idea! Hard to see them in the photograph though. ;)

They definitely can. I try to get mine cheap. Shipping is always around $15, it seems, so that adds to the cost. And some are more rare (yellow, teal, clear).

Really ! I thought they would fetch a bit more than that, worth every cent IMO. :)

The base on the pink is a little dinged up, but Wizard bases are easy to come by. The teal was from Mike(BlindFaith) in a trade, blue I got from someone locally for $15 (!), red was about $35 shipped, purple was about $30 shipped (also from Mike) and the pink was about $45 shipped. Purple is very common here and can go for $15 - $20 plus shipping.

One came up on uk ebay a while ago..silver with silver glitter but it had a nasty dent in the base so gave it a miss.

I would deffo bid on a minty one. How much do they go for in the U.S. ?

Purple and pink are far prettier than I would have imagined, actually. I really like them. I think my fave is teal though!
