Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Old plant stands make the best Lava displays. It's not terribly obvious in this shot, but there are actually 11 different colors on display here.

Critter - yes, indeed! The yellow and (if I remember correctly) the cranberry. Super-clear, and flowing like champs. Gotta say thanks again!

Rob, I do believe I sold you one or two of those globes.  This looks sharp!!!!!

Thanks, Keith. Yeah, stability was/is a huge concern of mine as well. If you look closely behind the yellow lamp, you can see where I have it anchored to the wall. I'm going to add a second anchor as well, just in case. I've also gently rocked it a little back & forth just to make sure it returned to level. I don't have as many dogs as Carol, but I do have one 50-pound bulldog who's every bit as graceful as you would imagine!

I love it!  But I have always been too leery of the stability factor.

Cords hidden by zip-tying them to the columns? Nice display, great colors! I use an old plant stand to display glassware.

Humm....I may just have to look for plant stands at my local 2nd hand shops!!!  I would have to anchor well though as I have 5 dogs and 3 are almost 100 pounds, so not all tiny ones.....looks very nice, and as someone commented you can barely see the cords!!!  I luv your plasma as well....I have the same one and luv it!!!  Especially in the summer when  they don't throw off heat!!

Very nice! And all flowing awesome!

Thanks, guys - much appreciated! It took a while to shim this thing level and, given the overall weight, I have it anchored to the wall as well.

Good display!

Your globes look nice and clear and the cords are hidden well.
