Oh it is no hurry......just curious really. The estimate is Tues by end if day and that is better for me really than monday. I have a good 16 hour day in front of me tomorrow anyhow.

Thanks Kirk!

I can see my last two shipments from forward2me.

Shipment #1 - Day One in UK, Day Two in UK, NYC, Day Three in Cincinnati, Delivered.

Shipment #2 - Day One in UK, Day Two in UK, Miami, Day Three in Cincinnati, Delivered.

My guess is you'll have your package tomorrow.

I thought they looked like a real copper finish by the pics. I really shouldn't have thought about any other possibility after all this is Mathmos not LL. Thanks Kirk!

By the way my shipment is still in OH where it has been for the last 36 hours. What travel path do your shipments take.....clearly non-stop between you and the UK must be involved.

Bill - they are anodized.  See the spec sheet on the Mathmos website https://www.mathmos.com/heritage-astro-Lava-lamp-range.html .

I'd love to see a limited edition of the chrome Fluidium.  I'd jump on that.

LOL.  I paid my shipping fees just after you and I last talked....Wed's eve.  My order went out from the shipper the next day.  They sat in the UK for a good 24 Hours before flying out.  Got to the airport in OH yesterday where they still sit....delivery estimate is tuesday.  I just hope I don't have to sign for them as I won't be home and will have to deal with picking them up or scheduling a different delivery date.

Good news on the copper finish.  I suspected they'd be great, all my metal Mathmos lamps have great workmanship.  The fluidiums are plastic so they just don't compare but the flow is stellar.

Oh, and I do like the blue/blue.  It is a little darker, but I like it.  It's perfect for winter!

Bill - they look anodized to me.  Definitely a little darker copper than the lighter vintage.  I like them a lot.  Mathmos does a great job with fit and finish.

I just got my limited edition lamps on Thursday, and they were delivered in 2 days!  About to go rewire the oak and carrara marble bases in a few minutes.  I took a quick look at them on Thursday -- really nice.  Again, fit and finish is top notch.

Kirk....how do they compare finish-wise to vintage?  Real copper anodizing....same light copper color or more intense copper colored?

I very nearly ordered one of these with my recent Mathmos order but decided to wait for more info on these.  I ordered a few lamps but decided to maybe get a copper in my next order.

By the way my shipment from Mathmos is not taking two days like yours do.....more like five, and I'm closer to the UK than you!  LOL.  It's not matter just kind of funny.

Are you liking the Blue/Blue?  I have one and it's ok....it's just hard to view at night in a dark room. By day in a bright room it's really pretty.
