Love the holes in the base, until I had one with holes I didn't understand the true greatness of light shining through.

I like the way Erin's looked when she drilled some century bases, but I want to try a totally random pattern of 3-4 sizes of drill hole, to make a star field. I want to drill the lip that holds the globe, also. I probably wouldn't drill a screw cap, but if the globe had a bottle cap, I would definitely put stars on the cap, too. :) MAN...I want to do that now! I have a dremel. Can I put holes in these bases with that, if I get a special bit?
