Sand Pictures were made and sold by both manufacturers and hobbyists for a long time before "Exotic Sands" started up, and they're surely still making them somewhere despite "Exotic Sands" being closed. The "Space Sands" models had UV-reactive sand, a black frame, a space photo behind, and a special wall mount that swiveled so you could flip them any which way while hung.

The really rare item up there is the Double Wave, which had two tubes: blue/clear and pink/yellow. An optional top part to the base contained a sound module and a light. The Multicolor and UV-responsive Waves are rare, as is the (not shown) "neon" Wave with pink waves under yellow! (I have a prototype that was test-sold for a short time, yellow waves under pink!)

Haha, I haven't ever seen any of these things, but I really like all of them.  I'd be rocking out too. LOL  That person who said he got it at the Dollar Store made that post a month ago.  At least that's what it said.   Maybe they're making them again.

I haven't had one in YEARS, but I have had several.  I had the wham-o one when I was in school.  Rockin out in my room with my lava light, color organ light

and my sand picture window ;)

I haven't seen a sand window for sale in a long time.

Oooh, I could watch that for hours and build mountains!!   One of the comments posted said he got it at the Dollar Store.  Good Grief!!   I'm going to the Dollar Store, those are neat. Thanks so much for finding these videos and sharing them, Keith!!
