Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

52oz. Blue/Red from Spencer's - Premier from Lava Lite

I guess these are called "Premier"? The flow is actually pretty good on this one. However, like the rest, it's got a million light pinholes in the glass, crap in the coil and sticking on the very bottom. This was $20 after coupon. You get what you pay for.

I think this lamp is already experiencing problems - the flow last night was horrible - just a few huge blobs moving up and down.

I bought the same lamp at Spencers and mine had a million bubbles in the globe also. I eventually just put goo kit in it and sold it. But i can say this Pink/White i just picked up at Spencers is just gorgeous. I will post pictures soon on the heritage base

I think using your photos, LL could improve sales big time. I think your photography could sell almost any lamp!

Yes, there was a blue/red back in the late 90s/early 2000s. They are pretty hard to come by, esp in 52oz.

Great colorway! I'm glad lava has started this one (again, it was around years ago right?). Have one on my nightstand going every night. It has very nice flow & contrast. I also have too many of the air bubble stars in the glass, but I'm thankful that the lamp is so flawless that they stand out and I'm able to complain about them! I wonder if my 2012 Spencer milky/fuzz floaties lamps had those? I feel that remarkable improvements have been made on the Chinese lamps, and at $19.99 they're good beaters.

But they totally should make a step-up version, that's available in stores near you.

They are so hit and miss. I think at least 50% of all the Lava Lite lamps I've gotten in the past two years have wax that sticks around the very bottom. You can't see it when it's running, but I KNOW IT'S THERE AND IT BUGS ME. :)

Great photo/colourway Erin.  :)

I should say I got my new pink and white a couple weeks ago, almost at the same time as the red and blue one. So it has had plenty of time to start sticking to the bottom, but it still hasn't.

My red and blue that I got a few weeks ago is exactly the same way. Flows nice on my century base tho. I just got a new pink and white, and I have to say its very good. No sticking on the bottom, very little pinhole bubbles in the glass, and the flow is great on my century base. My century base is much cooler than the new bases, and it gets flowing just enough to make 3 stretchy blobs max at one time.

They should! This is such a good picture.
