It was a bit of both, I think!!!   Although the hottest day in decades "could" have had a lot to do with that......I hope...LOL    Now I'm gonna be watching mine more closely.   I saw the glitter swirling around in one of them the other day and sort of freaked.   You'll get your Purple re-wired when you have the time, they are really gorgeous!

They sure did ! I have still to re-wire mine but am more than contented to just admire it, its a design classic and up there with Copper/chrome Cresties imo.

The other evening the glitter started to move of it own accord !!!  

Was it magic ?

Or the hottest day in decades where I live ! lol.

Thank you, Pete!  Your eyes went right to the Purple Wizard eh?  The Wizzie glitters are really my favorites too, other than the Rockets and Telstars.  I'm working to get my lamps up in my loft.  Right now they are scattered all over the place in 3 rooms.

What a sweetheart!!!    See that Grande behind the glitter?  It's been sitting out on my porch for over a month.  I'm trying to fade it, it's "way" too dark.   It's not worked yet.   LOL    I also have a 32 oz. China teal glitter sitting out there too, went on a Wizzie, also way too dark.

Erin, are you believing all that?   That's just a drop in the bucket too.   I've come a "long way" in several months,  much to my husband's distress.  But all his carbide lamps are in that cabinet, and mining stuff belonging to his ancestors.  My excuse. ;-)

Ok, I'll buy him a "Jason" mask for Halloween.   Hahahaha   He might like it.  Not too sure I will when I look up there after dark though.  ;-)
