That is really hot!!!  Did you order the orange dye pack or did you do color blending?  I'm going to say it's the orange.  Wow, I'm waiting for my gookit now.  I ordered red and purple, now I wish I would have ordered the orange.  I was thinking of it too, lol!!!   Hey, did it take long for you to get your kit?  I ordered it last Friday, they took the money out of my account, but no shipping notification or anything yet.  I just emailed them.

 

Again your lamp turned out fabulous!!!

I was going to make metallic copper wax, but it sounds like hit or miss with it. I played it safe.

The sculptures go great with the copper base. Now if we could just figure out a good way to make the wax metallic!

Yep. The black and brown bases I did came out very hammered.

I debated on that as well and went for the copper. It turnde out great! Looks even better in person.
Although, it didn't do much of a hammered finish, but I went easy on the paint. Two light coats.
