I have no vintage fibre experience but love the look and color of this piece, like vision within dark space. May your friend rest well, remember him with the shine of this lamp!

It's the base to a Crestworth Phantomlite fibre optic lamp. I have one with a polished copper base but this one looks like it's either been anodised or had a lacquer finish applied. Very beautiful, I'm a little envious.

May my friend Rest In Peace, from the collection of a Great Friend and Mentor this is a super rare deep purple Crestworth Phantomlite, that was acquired direct from Crestworth Limited many years ago and stored in one of his many cupboards, it is almost two tone tonic in colour, no picture can ever give the deepness of the colour and shine any justice...Ray Halfacre R.I.P.
