Love the floor standing 'Wizard'. It actually looks more 'wizardy' than a normal wizard IMHO.

It's a lamp I bought at Ikea. It's about $24.00. It comes in Chrome, Brass, Black and Purple.

I was there picking up more cones for my projects and I saw it. I stuck a cone in it and it fit perfectly.

The trick is to get the cone and the existing light to work together. It's pretty tricky to make work. It has a short 40 watt in the bottom so it wont burn the wires on the bottom of the cone. I stuck an extra 32oz in it and it works great.

BTW, it will run hot, so you will need to add a dimmer.

The nice thing is that the bottom light puts a nice glow under it. The camera didnt pick that up.

You can also not install the stem and just have it sit like a wizard.

Can you tell me more about how this "Super Wizard" was made? I'd love to make one myself.
