Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

...Partly thanks to Simon. :) Thanks, Simon!
I already had the jet, but it's taken forever for the wax to settle. It was all the way up at the top of the bottle, and I couldn't get it down, no matter what I did. I finally gave up and put this beautiful lamp away, but when I took it out again, the wax had finally fallen back into place completely! I still need to get step-up adapters for these, so I can run them!

Did you read this on the posting?

For all electronice equipments up to 100 Watt(MAX 100 Watt!!!more than 100W will burnt it down).

I think it would be fine for 40 watt applications.  As far as the house wiring it shouldn't be any more dangerous than plugging in any other lamp.  The conversion takes place outside of the wiring.  Also, when voltage is increased amperage is decreased so the current draw is actually less.  (I think.   I'm not an electrician!)

Whoo! I'm so excited...

Keith, could you tell me if this adapter is the type I would need?

UK-US Step-Up Adapter

Also, the wiring in this house is from the 60's, and not up to code. Would that matter, or would I likely not run into any problems?
