Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I believe this was a yellow/orange with ruined liquid. Liquid has been replaced and re-dyed. It flows well, but it's sluggish. Still a neat lamp to look at. :)

Thanks dudes. :) I think salt is what makes it more bubbly though, right?

It means a touch more salt Erin.

So, more salt solution or more SLES? I'm guessing salt solution.

hey erin - i think slow flow indicates that the densities of the wax and liquid are very close, so increasing the density of the liquid should speed things up.

I like it no matter what!

It's too bad these metal bases faded so badly. The gold is pretty if it's still intact, but most of them are pretty dull. I like the footed bases, too.

I like the black footing on the bases, never was keen on the later Astro bases with the pegs, especially the white. Black is less intrusive.

Agreed - the Century is *the* representation of the US-made Lava Lite lamps. :)
