This arrived yesterday, it works and looks great. The glitter inside it different than the Heat tapes, and Florence lamps. It is smaller flecks floating around and the liquid seems thicker. Even when the lamp is off, there always remains some glitter just floating. It sparkles even off during the day, a real beauty!

The Consorts were made from 1966 onward; the Windsor Glitterlites came out in 1969, but my price sheet doesn't list the Lava version (though I assume it dates from the same time).

LOL!! Hi Jim, I just saw that you have a Lava version too! besides Manix5! Yes I am very happy it is Glitter from what I read about these lamps the Glitter is harder to find than the Lava version and both are hard to find at all!! This should arrive today or tomorrow, Can't wait!!

Until I just saw you indicate that you prefer glitters, I was going to offer you a straight up trade of my lava Windsor for your glitter Windsor.  ;-)

Hey Jonas, Thanks for writing! I knew you would have some info on this lamp. I thought it was very rare! As I have only seen 1 in Lava. Fellow Goo head Manix5 has one in a Lava version, I read that this was made in Glitter too, but never saw one. I prefer Glitters so you know I am happy it is a Glitter and not Lava. Were these made before or after the square base consorts? The lady I got this from found it in a thrift store in Spokane Washington!! LOVE IT! It probably is the original fill too! If you have more info on Windsors let me know, I find very little info on them. Thanks Frank

If the fill is original, this would be a series 300 Windsor Glitterlite, model 301 gold. Also came in 302 silver and 303 emerald. Mucho rare, rarer even than a Windsor Lava Lite, and I'm somehow not surprised that you've got one. By now, you might as well have one of everything! Thanks for sharing this mega-rare lamp, only the second Windsor Glitterlite I've ever seen!
