Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Scored this baby!! so HAPPY!! I know it is a rare lamp. I have been looking for it in the Lava version for a while. I already have it in the even rarer Gold Glitter version. I will take a picture of the two versions together when it arrives next week.

I'm about to begin experiments to look for the same type of liquid and glitter as used in Florences, heat Tapes, Pagodas, MasterCrafters, and Lava Lite Glitterlites.

I have a French Glitter in a bulbous shape that needs to be refilled. The other day a Fantasia Glitter came up BIN for $45 which I know is cheap. I thought about buying it to refill the French lamp but was not sure if it worked so I let it go. Of course it sold.

I'll have to accumulate the bottles to fill it too.  I bet it'd make a difference in the flow even if they were the same color, but from different batches or models of lamps.   I'll have to put it on the back burner right now, but one of these days----hopefully!

Not cheap! but if it is a lamp you love it is worth it, if you can afford to do it.

Knowing my luck, it wouldn't flow right when I got through with it!   UGH   This calls for expermintation!!   I have a grande I want to re-fill with glitter in the worst way!   I don't even want to think what that would cost!  OUCH!

I think like you, BUT I think there are steps to do in refills. Do not think it is that easy to refill.

I don't know how either, except to find a lovely glitter I like that's in rather inexpensive lamp, and dump it in the lamp that needs re-glittered......sounds like a plan to me!
