Something interesting... Boy, I'll just go with I love my grown children but when it comes to those grandchildren, my heart just melts...
My career. I was in the demolition field for most of my working career. I was medically retired early because of a mishap on the job..
I love music & play guitar, so I do have a lot of them. Now I'm teaching my grandchildren how to play & starting their own collection of name brand guitars, going by their ''Handedness''.
Last but not least, since I'm older, I can still remember when Lava Lamps first came out. I've probably passed on 2 or 3 dozens of truly Vintage Lamps, all under $10-$15 through local garage sales. Now folks are smart & boy-o-boy, you can't touch them anywhere for those prices... Personally I am a great guy. I am not a dangerous person so you can take that to the bank.Thanks for reading, Dan

My First Lava Lamp was:

1st Lamp was certainly over 20 inches tall & had a really wide lower bout. However, after the original bulb went out it was placed in a box in the basement. I was able to find another Lamp for $2.00 but that one was really cloudy & within a month, the bulb in that one went out as well. So my wife at the time gave it away. Remember folks, there was no such thing as ''The Internet'' back then so once Lava Lamps left the stores, a lot of people my age were on our own & it was really hard finding replacement parts (especially if you lost the original box that your Lamp came in.)
As you can see, I talk a lot. That's why my kids run, or don't answer any of my phone calls or won't get into any txt conversations with me. (Sad Face)
